Another innovative and exciting design from Action. The Carisbrooke introduces a new range of features not seen in the UK before as well as incorporating proven modules from our existing range. The unit combines activities that will extend all the family from toddler to teenager in a safe, creative and social environment.
Two wooden towers, each with an Art Deco feel curved wooden roof, are connected together with our unique wooden tunnel. A place to hide, to shelter, to sleep away a warm afternoon. Tunnels are gateways in every Adventure, stimulating the imagination and providing heaps of play value and fun.
Access to one tower is provided by our wide wooden staircase with specially designed steps spaced for little feet and legs. To the other tower attaches a sturdy ramp with rope, steep enough to be fun for older children and at the same time providing a challenge for 2 year olds. The strong 3m (10 feet) green wavy slide makes up the third exit element. For the little ones the wooden sandpit built into the base of one tower, complete with two seats, is a magnet for creative opportunities.
To conclude the terrific range of features comes our assault course complete with exciting climbing wall and tall scramble net, joined to one tower by a substantial swing arm fitted with two wooden swings. Six quality professional grips lead to the top of the wall with horizontal wooden beams to give extra grip for the less adventurous.

About the Wood
The Action climbing frames are manufactured from PEFC sourced timber (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) meaning that only timber from sustainable forest is used. As wood is a natural material, over time cracks or splits may appear this is usually caused by the fluctuating moisture content in the air and ground splitting is unfortunately inevitable. Although it will not affect the structural stability of your product, here at Action we have tried to minimize them by only machining rectangular sections. These are stronger than the alternative round section and contain less heartwood meaning the chance of cracks and splitting will be greatly reduced. All the Action climbing frames use top grade PEFC pine; this timber is not only a beautiful but a high quality material.
To preserve the life of your climbing frame Action take a number of steps to ensure its longevity. Once the chosen timber has been selected and machined all rough edges are planed smooth and rounded and all fixing holes and recesses pre drilled. This entire process is carried out to 1mm precision to ensure maximum quality. Finally, the timber is pressure treated using a non-toxic chromium / cadmium / arsenic-free solution specifically approved for children’s playground equipment.
About the Delivery
All climbing frames arrive in flat packed parcels and for easy checking, parts are clearly labelled 1/9, 2/9 etc and are arranged in the order you will need them when assembling. Included in the climbing frame packaging will be a detailed set of assembly instructions and a drill bit for preparing screw frames. Packaged in a sealed silver foil pack will be your instructions and fixings.
