Which Climbing Frame?
With so many different climbing frames to choose from, how do you know which one is right for you? We have written this guide to help you choose between the huge variety of climbing frames we have on offer. If you’re still unsure which one to choose, our customer service team are happy to help and offer further advice, they can be reached on 01342 833464 Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm.
We strongly recommend that you measure out the space that you have before purchasing or installing your climbing frame, making sure you consider obstructions such as low hanging trees or tree roots etc. An unobstructed safety area of about 1.5m should be left for safety and access, with a clear zone of about 2.0m to 2.5m in front and behind the swings. Your frame should not be placed closer than 2m from any boundary of your property.
Once you have decided upon a space for the frame you can then consider whether you want a single tower, double tower or multiple towers.
What activities do your children enjoy?
There are so many to choose from. Do you want swings? Towers? Sandpits? Commando nets? Think about what your children enjoy now, but also bear in mind how fast they grow and what they might want in a couple of years. With the Action range you can swap swings or add on towers or other exciting things such as Rock-Climbing Walls or Monkey Bars as your children get older. Please just give us a call for advice on which towers and add-ons work best with your existing frame.
Off the Shelf or Design Your Own?
Off the Shelf
There are several combinations of frames you can buy off the shelf, all ready to build. The Plum Products and Action ranges have some great affordable options with hours of fun built in. They come with full build instructions and are designed for home build.
Design Your Own
If you can’t see anything that quite fits the bill you can always consider designing your own from the Action range. We have years of experience with the Action range of climbing frames and are always happy to chat through various options with you. The joy of the Action range is that it is a modular system which means you can start with just one tower and an add-on such as Monkey Bars, and then buy extra add-ons, towers and items for imaginative play as your children and family get bigger. As an accredited 5-star supplier of Action Design Your Own Climbing Frames you can trust us to provide you with the best ideas and advice. Please do not hesitate to call us on 0800 652 9992 or 01342 833464.
