It comes with a stylish matt black exterior, the edges are finished in a chrome effect with adjustable height feet and the pitch has a transparent ice-like effect surface that gives a fast and smooth action. The Vortex table comes with a powerful electric motor (requiring a mains connection) for fast and smooth puck action.  At 7ft in length the table can accommodate up to 4 players ensuring the whole family can be involved. 

A typical air hockey table consists of a large smooth playing surface, a surrounding rail to prevent the puck and mallets from leaving the table and slots in the rail at either end of the table that serve as goals. A fan is attached to the underside of the table and this produces a cushion of air on the play surface through tiny holes, with the purpose of reducing friction and increasing play speed. The puck will then float on the cushion of air.  The object of the game is to score goals into your opponent's goal.
