Mightymast 8ft Cube Slate Bed Pool Table

The Cube is an excellent 8ft slate bed pool table that has cleverly been designed to convert to a dining table within seconds.

The Cube features a 3/4 inch thick, one piece, premium Italian slate which offers exceptional playing performance. 100% wool speedplay baize covers the slate which gives the pool table maximum ball response and the fastspeed rubber cushions provide optimum ball rebound. The table benefits from a tough all-metal under carriage that provides impressive durability and all the legs feature adjustable-height leg levellers to ensure level play on uneven ground.

A walnut dining top is supplied with the Cube, to cover the table when not in use, converting the pool table to a functional dining table. The premium hardwood dining top is interlocking in three parts and even packs away underneath the table when not in use.

The objective in pool is to hit the cue ball and pot as many balls as the player can in any of the pockets in the pool table. There are hundreds of pool games; some of the more well known include eight-ball, nine-ball, straight pool, and one-pocket. The more commonly played Pool game is Eight-Ball and is a call shot game played with a cue ball and 15 object balls, numbered 1 through 15. One player must pocket balls of the group numbered 1 through 7 (solid colours or red balls), while the other player has 9 through 15 (stripes or yellow balls). The player pocketing either group first and then legally pocketing the 8-ball wins the game.
