Little people will have hours of imaginative play in this lovely story-book cottage, ideal for Red Riding Hood or Snow White!
This timber playhouse has been manufactured from smooth planed whitewood pine from sustainable forests. It is supplied flat packed for ease of handling and complete with felt, fixings, glazing and comprehensive instructions. The playhouse will have been given an industry standard base coat for protection in transit but to ensure years of enjoyment from your playhouse a further weatherproofing topcoat will need to be applied within six weeks of assembly.
For anyone wishing to simply admire their playhouse rather than building and painting it we offer a painting/weatherproofing and installation service which can be chosen from the drop down selection boxes above.
The Shire Playhouses are manufactured with 35 x 35mm framing. They come with 12mm thick tongue & groove cladding on the walls and floor, with an 11mm solid sheet OSB roof. A single door is supplied with a black iron pull handle and styrene windows are supplied as standard. You are also able to add additional opening windows and window boxes (if applicable) using the drop downs above.
All playhouses in the Shire garden building range are supplied pre-treated inside and out with a quality, water-based, non-toxic, anti-fungicidal base coat. This ensures that your garden building is protected in transit and is ready to accept any preservative colour of your choice. The building shown above has been painted for photographic purposes only. You may decide to have your playhouse treated at the factory with a protective topcoat to ensure an even application. Simply select this in the drop down above.
We are delighted to offer you a painted option on the whole range of Shire playhouses (Platforms, ballustrade and facias are not included in the painting option). We may not be able to match the image shown, please phone to discuss. This will be performed in the factory using Protek Royal shades as shown below. All you need to do is choose the additional painted option from the drop down menus above and select a colour from below. Once you've decided on your colour choice simply select your colour choice using the drop down above. Your chosen colour will be used for the main body of the playhouse and any trim will be in Protek Snow.
