MadFun e-Gift Card

Our gift cards are valid for 24 months from the date of purchase, giving the recipient plenty of time to choose the perfect addition to their garden.

Important: any unused balance will expire and be forfeited after the expiry date. Please use your Gift Card before it expires.

Yes, before you click 'add to cart' above tick the box that says 'I want to send this as a gift' and complete the boxes with the recipients name and email address. That way, the gift card will be sent to them directly by email instead of to you.

You can even choose the date on which you'd like the digital gift card to be sent.

Note: All gift cards are digital, there will be nothing physical sent in the post.

Yes. When you buy the gift card, there's space for a short message, which we'll include in the email.

Yes. Choose a delivery date before adding to cart and we'll email it to the recipient that morning, perfect for birthdays and Christmas Day. If you leave the date blank, it's sent straight away.

Yes! Madfun.co.uk gift cards can be used as a payment method for any product on our website, including clearance items and seasonal promotions.

No. If the total order is less than the value of the gift card, the remaining balance will stay on the card for future use (until the expiry date). If the order exceeds the balance, you can pay the difference using any of our standard payment methods (Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Klarna, etc.).

Gift cards cannot be returned or cancelled once delivered, except where required by law.

If you request immediate delivery of a digital gift card and acknowledge that you lose your cancellation right once delivery begins.

Gift cards are excluded from our 90-day returns policy.

Where a refund is due for an item purchased using a gift card, the amount paid using the cift card will normally be refunded as gift card credit. Any amount paid using another payment method will normally be refunded to that payment method.

This does not affect any statutory rights you may have in relation to faulty, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming goods.

No, you can use your Madfun.co.uk gift card for anything on our site, from trampolines to swimming pools, and everything in between!

Gift cards are available in £50, £100, £150, £200, £250, and £500 values.

1. Definition and scope

1.1 In these Terms, a “Gift Card” or “Gift Voucher” means a digital gift card, voucher or electronic credit issued by Madfun Ltd and redeemable against eligible purchases made online at www.madfun.co.uk

1.2 Gift Cards are issued by Madfun Ltd, trading as madfun.co.uk. They are not credit cards, debit cards, payment accounts or electronic money products.

1.3 These Gift Card terms apply in addition to our general Terms of Service and refund policy. If there is any conflict, these Gift Card terms will apply specifically to the purchase, delivery and redemption of a Gift Card.

2. Purchase and denominations

2.1 Gift Cards may be purchased in the denominations displayed on our website.

2.2 Gift Cards are for personal or business use. Corporate or bulk Gift Card orders may be subject to separate written terms agreed with Madfun Ltd.

2.3 Gift Cards may only be purchased using the payment methods made available at checkout.

3. Delivery

3.1 Gift Cards are delivered electronically by email to the email address provided.

3.2 Subject to the availability of the relevant functionality, the purchaser may choose immediate delivery or schedule delivery for a future date.

3.3 The purchaser is responsible for providing an accurate recipient email address and for ensuring that the Gift Card email and redemption code are kept secure.

3.4 We are not responsible for a Gift Card being delivered to an incorrect email address where the incorrect details were provided by the purchaser.

4. Validity and expiry

4.1 Each Gift Card is valid for 24 months from the date of purchase, unless a different period is expressly stated at the point of purchase.

4.2 Important: any unused balance will expire and be forfeited after the Gift Card’s expiry date.

4.3 A Gift Card cannot be extended or reactivated after expiry unless we agree otherwise or are required to do so by law.

4.4 The expiry period and the consequences of expiry will be displayed prominently before, after or at the point of purchase, or in the Gift Card confirmation email.

5. Redemption

5.1 Gift Cards may be redeemed online only at www.madfun.co.uk.

5.2 Only one Gift Card may be used per order. A Gift Card may be used together with one promotional code per order, subject to the terms of the applicable promotion.

5.3 Gift Cards cannot be used:

• to purchase another Gift Card;
• to obtain cash or a cash equivalent;
• to pay delivery surcharges; or
• in any other way expressly excluded at checkout or in the Gift Card terms.

5.4 If the order total is less than the Gift Card balance, the unused balance will remain available for future eligible purchases before expiry.

5.5 If the order total exceeds the Gift Card balance, the difference must be paid using another available payment method.

5.6 Gift Cards may be used on eligible full-price, sale and clearance products.

6. Refunds

6.1 Gift Cards are non-refundable once purchased, except where a refund is required by law.

6.2 Where eligible goods purchased using a Gift Card are returned or a refund is otherwise due, the amount paid using the Gift Card will normally be refunded as Gift Card credit. Amounts paid using another payment method will normally be refunded to that payment method.

6.3 Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any statutory rights relating to goods that are faulty, misdescribed or not as required by law.

6.4 Gift Cards are excluded from our 90-day discretionary returns policy. This exclusion does not affect any statutory rights.

7. Loss, theft and unauthorised use

7.1 A Gift Card and its redemption code must be treated like cash.

7.2 We are not responsible for any loss, theft, deletion, alteration or unauthorised use of a Gift Card or redemption code after delivery.

7.3 We will not replace or refund a Gift Card that has been lost, stolen, deleted or used without the purchaser’s or recipient’s permission, except where required by law.

8. Fraud, misuse and cancellation

8.1 We may cancel, suspend or refuse to honour a Gift Card where we reasonably suspect fraud, unlawful activity, unauthorised use, misuse or a breach of these terms.

8.2 We may request information reasonably necessary to verify a Gift Card purchase or redemption.

8.3 Where a Gift Card is cancelled or suspended, we will investigate the circumstances and will act in accordance with applicable law.

9. Fees and charges

9.1 We do not charge administration or delivery fees for Gift Cards.

9.2 Gift Cards do not accrue interest and no inactivity, maintenance or redemption fees will be deducted from the balance.

10. VAT

10.1 Gift Card prices and face values are stated in pounds sterling and include any VAT treatment applicable at the relevant time.

10.2 Our Gift Cards may be treated as multi-purpose vouchers for VAT purposes because they may be used to purchase different products. Where applicable, Madfun Ltd will account for VAT in accordance with the relevant VAT rules, generally when the Gift Card is redeemed against goods.

10.3 Nothing in these terms affects the price displayed for the goods purchased using a Gift Card or any VAT invoice that may be issued for an eligible purchase.

11. Consumer rights and digital delivery

11.1 Where a Gift Card is delivered digitally, the customer may be asked at checkout to:

• expressly request or consent to immediate delivery of the Gift Card before the end of the usual 14-day cancellation period; and
• acknowledge that, once delivery begins, the statutory cancellation right may be lost where the law permits that exclusion.

11.2 If the customer does not consent to immediate delivery, delivery may be delayed until the relevant cancellation period has expired, where required by law.

11.3 These terms do not exclude or limit any consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

12. Business and corporate Gift Cards

12.1 Business, corporate and bulk Gift Card orders may be subject to separate terms relating to minimum order values, invoicing, delivery, validity, permitted recipients and redemption.

12.2 Where separate written terms apply, those terms will take precedence over these consumer Gift Card terms to the extent of any inconsistency.

13. General

13.1 Gift Cards are redeemable only in accordance with these terms and the other terms applicable to purchases made through our website.

13.2 We may update these Gift Card terms from time to time. The terms applying to a Gift Card will generally be the terms in force when that Gift Card was purchased, unless a change is required by law or is necessary to prevent fraud or misuse.

13.3 These Gift Card terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory rights applicable to consumers in their place of residence.
